Our heating thermostat went out and we couldn't turn off the heat. Simple problem but I didn't want to mess with the thermostat because I couldn't identify the circuit breaker to turn off the power.Gil took care of the problem and, more importantly, educated me on my elecrical system so that I will be able to deal with this in the future.
He was not super friendly at first, preferring to get right down to business. Once he got into it he was happy to answer all of my questions.
His professional rate was well worth it because, thanks to his advice, I'll be able to replace these thermostats and handle this myself in the future.

Gil came out and did an amazing job. I want you all to know that I really feel fortunate that he was the individual to make the call today. He did some investigating into why our light didn't work in our office and figured out the solution. I really am not sure if another electrician would have been willing to figure it out. Gil replaced my panel and upgraded it to a 200 amp service. Since we live in a 210 year old house he also did some wiring of old nob a tube in the attic. I had heard about Gil from my next door neighbor had Gil do his electrical panel and was very happy with his work. Gil was very professional and took the time to explain what he was doing. Gil cleaned up after the job and reviewed all the work with me that they had completed. I was quite impressed with Gil and his staff. I have recommended him to others.

Gil came the first day we called to fix a couple of hanging pendant lights. He identified the problem right away, and although he didn't have the part, he found someone who had one in stock (rather than ordering and waiting) and came back the next day and did the install in under 10 minutes. He also cut the price down, and only charged us for one visit even though he came twice.I have no reservations in recommending him to anyone
